Sue Euers -Chair of the Governing Body
I started as a parent Governor at Leasowe Primary School, when my two sons attended the school. Once they left I became a co-opted governor and vice chair. I am also the chair of the Curriculum Committee and link governor for SEND.
My professional background is in Business Administration, but my passion has always been teaching. I decided to retrain and for the last 12 years, I have been a driving instructor and run my own driving school. I am also a Beaver Leader at a scout group in Wallasey have been for the last 30 years.
As a governor at Leasowe Primary, I have been involved in appointing the new Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher. I feel privileged to be involved in supporting and challenging the school, in striving to be an inclusive community who learn and grow together. I believe that Leasowe Primary School should be a happy and successful school where every child is given the opportunities to reach their full potential.
Sue Ross : Co-opted Governor
I have been a Governor for the past two years. I am enjoying being part of the wonderful journey our school is taking.
I have three children who have all attended Leasowe Primary School. I was brought up in Leasowe and still live there. I am very proud to be part of the its community and I believe that our school is at the centre of it.
I am very passionate and dedicated in serving our school as a Governor and helping to make Leasowe Primary School a happy, safe and successful place to learn.
Stacy Shaw - Parent Governor
My name is Stacy Shaw and I have lived in the Leasowe community for most of my life. I’ve worked in the community for Leasowe Development Trust and for many years taught dance to the children in the Leasowe community.
Although I am no longer working in these roles, I do still enjoy volunteering within the Leasowe community and school. I have been a parent governor since September 2018. I have 3 three children at Leasowe Primary School currently but when I started as a parent governor, I did have six children at Leasowe. All have excelled here and my older three children are doing amazingly at high school. I fully enjoy my role as Parent Governor.
