Online Safety

Information for Parents

At LPS we see and celebrate the importance of technology in all our lives – it  helps our children to communicate, learn and express ourselves in incredible ways.  We have greater to technology than ever before so it is important that the teaching of internet safety is effective.

At LPS, we focus on using technology safely and  responsibly. Things can go wrong by accident or if behaviour isn’t sensible or respectful.  Our aim is to ensure our children have the  knowledge, skills and understanding to successfully navigate themselves through the online world, so they become good digital citizens and know how to keep themselves safe.

We teach E-Safety through PHSE, Computing and through topic days and assemblies. In addition to this, we host annual parent workshops focusing on E-Safety at home and positive parent techniques and parental knowledge on the latest technology.
